Our story
Our journey so far
GapSauce, initially an inside joke among mountain bike riders, became a cheer to push themselves harder. Inspired by drag racing, it symbolized the desire to dig deep and leave it all on the course.
GapSauce rides were open to anyone who wanted to show effort, regardless of skill level. It fostered a community of like-minded riders who embraced the ethos of never stopping, never giving up, and always trying. The logo was given away on water bottles, stickers, and hats, creating a sense of belonging and earning for those who participated.

When was the last time you felt like you were really part of something?
You were included, present, supported and challenged. It mattered that you showed up.
GapSauce started as a way to engage young riders in chasing something bigger for themselves. A group with varied skill levels but the same goal of pushing forward. A club that anyone could join if they wanted to do the work to show up. First it was signs we made to cheer each other on. Then it was water bottles and hats that riders got like merit badges of belonging. It was the name of the text thread that called everyone out for the extra ride they didn’t want but would go on because their GapSauce buddies would be there. And they got stronger, and they laughed and struggled together, bringing in anyone who said “how do I become a part of that?”. And the group got bigger, and the kids got older, and now GapSauce wants to make the club even bigger……do you want to join?
